Requests from the chat, straight into your Airtable
Pick a table and decide what goes in each column. When a customer joins a waitlist, asks for a callback or leaves feedback, the agent adds one record — no copying from the inbox.
Sign-ups open at launch.

What happens in the conversation
Every column, your way
For each column choose: the agent fills it in, it comes from the conversation, it gets a fixed value, or it stays empty.
Customer details from your records
Name, email, phone, company, channel and a link back to the chat come from orbitbase's own records, so the agent never mistypes them.
Clean data
Numbers, dates and emails are checked before they're written, and a select only ever gets one of its existing options.
Once per request
A repeated or retried call never adds a duplicate record, and the chat carries on after it's added.
Works on every channel
On the website chat the agent can ask for every detail at once as a form; on the other channels it asks one question at a time.
How teams use it
Instagram
A waitlist sign-up
CustomerLet me know when the new collection drops!
Your agentAdds her to your Waitlist table with her email and the channel she wrote from.
- Website chat
A callback request
CustomerCan someone call me about a quote?
Your agentShows a short form, then adds a record with the phone number, the best time to call and a link to the chat.
WhatsApp
Product feedback
CustomerThe new app update feels much slower.
Your agentAdds a feedback record with a one-line summary, ready for your product review.
Switch it on
- Step 1
Connect Airtable once in Settings → Integrations and share the bases you want.
- Step 2
Add an Airtable action on the Actions page, pick a table and check each column.
- Step 3
Try it in the playground and find the record in Airtable.
Good to know
The agent doesn't share the record link, which is internal. Your team sees it on the message in the inbox.
Questions
Yes. On the website chat and the playground, the columns the agent fills can be asked as one form instead of one question at a time.
A column filled from the conversation is left empty when the conversation doesn't have the value. Set it to be filled by the agent if every record needs it.
